RE: Important Administrative
Details
We look forward to a productive and
a great year for the National Association. As leaders of the leadership team of
the Association, the following items will help us get and stay on track with
accurate and timely communications.
1.
Date everything. Letters, communications, etc should
be dated to and from each other and
to and from the NA office.
2
Liaisons are important. Be sure your new chairpersons know who your liaison is and
how to reach him/her when meetings are planned. All communications should be copied to your liaison. He/she should be
included in all meeting and conference calls.
- Use on-line worksites whenever possible. We have
made this incredible service available to all of our leadership teams. As
an up-to-date way to communicate about the work you are doing. If you have
not used worksites before, call the NA office and we will point you in the
right direction.
- Secretaries of Divisions, Committees and
Commissions -
Remember that as a result of a policy decision by the Executive Committee,
the decisions made by your division, committee, etc should be posted in
bullet form within 14 days of your meeting. Email them to your staff
liaison in the office. (Minutes do not have to be posted until you
have officially voted on them as a group). If you have questions about
this contact Carrie Dahm or me at the NA office.
- Yearbook changes are imperative and timely! We
are in the process of changing emails, lists and database information.
Please be sure the NA office has accurate contact information for you. E-mail
(bkitchen@naccc.org) or call our database staff member, Barbara Kitchen
(800.262.1620 ext. 18).
- Book form copies of the 2006 Yearbook are not
going to be available this year. Instead each member
Church and
Leadership Team member will receive a CD-version of the 2006 Yearbook. Additional
CDs are $5 each and 8 ½-11 paper copies are $10 each.
Let us pray that God will use us in
creative ways this new administrative year. Thank you so much for the services
you help to provide for our Churches.
Grace and Peace.
